Introducing Hayo No. 1: South. The Print Issue Is Out!

Hi there, friends!
I am beyond excited to share this piece of great news with you!

As you know, in 2014 I started Hayo as an online magazine, but I always felt a personal—and maybe romantic—need to return to the traditional way of reading. Six months ago I gathered an amazingly talented team to put this project on track and create our first print issue. Today I am thrilled to present you with the result of our work and my first born!

Hayo is not a common travel magazine. We have chosen stories that represent real people, the ones that live a city day in and day out. We believe that travel is not about sightseeing but is instead about connecting with people and soaking in the different cultures that are part of this world.

In our first print issue, No. 1: South, we chose to explore different meanings of the word “south.” We went from Buenos Aires to Cape Town, Antarctica, Japan, Turkey, among others. In every place, we found someone who could tell the story from an intimate approach and we are very pleased with the results.

Now is where you come in! Tell a friend, share it on your social channels, write about us, order the print issue or simply send us your positive energy for the road ahead (or all of the above!).

I can’t stress enough how excited I am to see this dream becoming a reality.
