Barranquilla’s Carnival, Colombia [PHOTOS]

Brazil is not the only country celebrating a carnival this upcoming weekend. Quebec City in Canada, Cologne in Germany, Venice in Italy, Tenerife in Canary Island-Santa Cruz, and Barranquilla in Colombia are among other places that have big festivities and celebrate important carnivals. These photos are from Barranquilla’s Carnival, taken by photographer Alex Riquett based in this same city. This celebration is the second largest in the world and it’s full of music, folclore, traditions, costumes and colors.
